WHAT WE DO

Acorn illustration

Collect

Each year we collect a limited batch of acorns from a handpicked selection of some of the UK's most famous oaks. Each one is numbered and certificated per annual season.

Grow

The acorns are organically grown for 1-2 years. This transforms them into 2-3ft tall, young saplings – an ideal point for planting into the wider environment.

Preserve

Once planted and cared for, your oaks will continue to grow and mature over years to come, allowing you to celebrate and preserve a part of British heritage.

PLANT A TREE FOR THE JUBILEE

Celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 by being part of The Queen’s Green Canopy. The initiative aims to commemorate the Jubilee by encouraging the British public to plant a tree in honour of The Queen.

Heritage Oaks are proud to take part in the occasion. We are able to supply oak trees that will not only benefit local communities and environments, but will also provide a unique opportunity to continue the legacy of her majesty and these great British trees.

For more information about the initiative please visit queensgreencanopy.org

a national icon

The iconic English Oak (Quercus robur) has been an emblem of the UK's land, culture and identity for years. Known for their strength, longevity and wildlife nurturing, the oak is also steeped in mythology. From the Greek Gods to Roman Emperors to Robin Hood, oak trees have played a pivotal role in the tale of British land.
We aim to celebrate these mighty oaks by sourcing and growing a bespoke selection every year. Allowing their stories to be told and their legacies to continue.
